I-LINC is an Open Membership Platform that connects stakeholders interested in youth employability, entrepreneurship and digital skills. It aims at boosting collaboration and exchange of ideas.

A few months ago, the I-LINC community organized a Best Practice Contest among practitioners and the OER Ikasenpresa Package for Teachers was one of the three selected initiatives. For that reason, it was presented at the Final Event of the I-LINC project “Education for the 21st century: Boosting Digital Skills and Entrepreneurial Thinking”, celebrated in Brussels on 23rd November.

Inge Gorostiaga, from Tknika, explained how the Ikasenpresa programme works inside the Basque VET System to attendants. Ikasenpresa is a programme where students learn to undertake by undertaking. Along the 2017-18 school year, 200 teachers from 78 VET Centres are developing the Ikasenpresa programme with the involvement of more than 4.500 students. Until now, 810 student-companies have already been created.
