EUSKADI-MEXICO MEETING

Yesterday a meeting took place in Tknika between institutional representatives of Guanajuato (Mexico) and Euskadi, as well as Basque companies that have headquarters in the Mexican state.

The main issue addressed was the response to the training needs of these companies that are dedicated to the automotive parts, through the coordination of the VETIBAC project of Tknika; in this case, the training would be given by CIFP Miguel Altuna LHII from Bergara.

The meeting was attended by the VET Deputy Minister of the Basque Government, Jorge Arévalo, the Innovation and International Directors of the Diputación Foral de Gipuzkoa, the International Head of SPRI, and the Executive Director of Tknika, among others. The Government of Guanajuato was represented by the Deputy Minister of Employment and Labor Training, Alberto Garcia, and the Director of Labor Prospective, Julio Jaramillo, as well as three representatives of the Technological Institute of Celaya.

The Basque companies invited were RPK, Metagra, Lazpiur, Cie Automotive, Panelfisa, Cikautxo, Hijos de Juan Garay, Ecenarro, Fagor and ELAY.
