VISIT OF A WELSH DELEGATION

This morning TKNIKA received the visit of a very important delegation coming from Wales.

The delegates were the following:

Alun Davies. Minister for Lifelong Learning and Welsh language.
Owen Evans. Deputy Permanent Secretary, Education and Public Services and next Director of Welsh Language broadcast Channel.
Bethan Webb. Head of Welsh language Department at Welsh Government.

Iestyn Davies. Executive Director of Colegau Cymru (a similar association to Ikaslan).

Claire Roberts. Director of bilingualism at Colegau Cymru.

The main objectives of the delegation were to know the work Ikaslan develops in the VET system, how we afford the implementation of the Basque language in our colleges (LANEKI) and finally to explore the possibility to create an organization similar to TKNIKA in Wales.

They also visited EITB, KONTSEILUA, Elhuyar, berria and MCC.
