🌍 𝐕𝐢𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐚-𝐆𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐢𝐳 𝐡𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐋𝐂𝐀𝐌𝐏 𝐖𝐞𝐞𝐤 & 𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐧 𝐃𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔: 𝐄𝐮𝐬𝐤𝐚𝐝𝐢, 𝐚 𝐄𝐮𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐧 𝐫𝐞𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐕𝐄𝐓, 𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐲.

Vitoria-Gasteiz became the international hub for Vocational Education and Training (VET) and advanced manufacturing with the celebration of the 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐋𝐂𝐀𝐌𝐏 𝐖𝐞𝐞𝐤 & 𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐧 𝐃𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, organised by the Basque Government’s Education Department Eusko Jaurlaritza – Hezkuntza Saila in collaboration with TKNIKA, within the framework of the European project LCAMP: Learner Centric Advanced Manufacturing Platform for CoVEs.

🔬 🤖 Visit to Tknika to explore innovation projects developed together with VET centres across Euskadi. At the same time, participants visited centres of excellence such as 𝐂𝐈𝐅𝐏 𝐓𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐚𝐥𝐝𝐞𝐚 𝐋𝐇𝐈𝐈 and 𝐂𝐈𝐅𝐏 𝐔𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐛𝐢𝐥 – 𝐙𝐮𝐛𝐢𝐞𝐭𝐚 𝐋𝐇𝐈𝐈.

➡️ 700 participants from 24 countries.

✨ Institutional opening by the Basque Government’s Minister of Education, Begoña Pedrosa, who highlighted the importance of collaboration between VET centres, companies and institutions, followed by a tribute to Jorge Arévalo Turrillas with a commemorative sculpture.

✨ High-level speakers: Inge Gorostiaga Luzarraga, Elina Pylkkänen, George Zissimos, Alessandro Marini, El Iza Mohamedou, Klaus-Dieter Rupp, Richard Gale, Kenneth Barrientos, Cynthia Woolderink, Daniel Kehl and Tim van der Voord.

✨ Closing session by the Vice-Minister for VET, Jon Labaka Intxauspe, underlining international cooperation as a key driver for the future of VET.

✳️ In parallel, participants could choose between 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐩𝐬 𝐨𝐫 𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐕𝐄𝐓 𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐬 such as EGIBIDE (Fundación Diocesanas-Jesús Obrero Fundazioa) and the 𝐀𝐫𝐤𝐚𝐮𝐭𝐞 𝐀𝐠𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥, where a tree was planted as a symbol of sustainability and the legacy of the LCAMP project.

The 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐃𝐚𝐲 was opened by Jon Labaka Intxauspe Labaka together with George Zissimos.
✳️ More than 55 Erasmus+ projects were presented out of nearly 90 currently active within the Basque VET network.

✳️ In parallel, 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐞𝐬 such as @Mercedes-Benz Vitoria, Gestamp, RPK, Basquevolt, CICenergiGUNE, CTA and AVS, most of them located in the Álava Technology Park, whose collaboration we gratefully acknowledge.
