Training course on Finite Element Analysis

During this week a group of teachers from the professional training centres Bidasoa, Don Bosco, Easo, Oteitza, Aretxabaleta and Elorrieta-Erreka Mari have participated in the training of Simulation by Finite Elements using the Siemens SIMCENTER FEMAP software, software that allows working on geometries imported from different design programmes and carrying out analyses of different types (modal, linear static, non-linear static, thermal, fluid,…) using the Nastran solver.
The course is the result of the work being carried out in the area of specialisation of Composite Materials, and has been given by Tknika’s collaborator and  Bidasoa’s teacher Jon Arozena. The main objective of the course has been to make known FEMAP possibilities, through an introduction to the software and using different practical exercises, and to make available to FPEuskadi centres the possibility of using the tool in their classes or challenges with the students.  Soon the manuals prepared for the introductory course will be published together with some explanatory videos.
