On March 30 we collaborated with the architect Teresa Artola as part of her doctoral research on “Wooden vaults in Bizkaia and their relationship with structures for shipbuilding in the 16th century”.
We start from a digital topographic survey of the hermitage of San Lorenzo of Ozerimendi in Zeanuri, carried out with our Leica “BLK360” model laser-scanner and the Recap program that can read and manipulate the point clouds obtained from the survey.
The objective of the survey is to record in this church, the precise volumetry of the building, paying special attention to the barrel vault. The result is a high-definition digital model that faithfully and exhaustively records the geometry of all the elements that make up its structure, and will help improve the constructive and dimensional understanding of this unique roof.
