WFCP Applied Research Affinity Group Relaunching Meeting

 In About Tknika, Internationalisation

The Applied Research Affinity Group of the WFCP celebrated on 22nd of September the first of a series of meetings with the aim of relaunching the Applied Research Affinity Group of the World Federation of Colleges and Polytechnics.

Participants from around five different countries of the world met at 15.00 CET to start organising and taking the first steps of the group under the leadership of Tknika, Camosun (Canada) and Holmesglen Institute (Australia).

In the meeting participants reaffirmed their support to the group and we are happy to say that everyone is committed and on board.

After this strong start, we have established a solid foundation based on collaboration and partnership on which we will base our future work.

In the Applied Research AG we want to work to reach a common understanding of Applied Research in VET from an international perspective.

We are planning to have a meeting every two months and to organise a webinar to share with the wider VET community the results of our work.

We hope to reach a common understanding of Applied Research in VET, to carry out a mapping of different Applied Research activities in VET across the globe and to identify shared interests.
