Kick-off Meeting of USWE

In the frame of the Social Dialogue Committee for Shipbuilding, SEA Europe and IndustriAll Europe applied for this EU-funded project to follow up the work done previously with the Skills Council projects. USWE is coordinated by Tknika (VET) and counts with the participation of Turku University of Applied Science.  The Kick off meeting took place recently in San Sebastian.

Main objectives of this 2-year project include the analysis of current and future skills gaps, forecast of the Shipyard 4.0 and development of a list of occupational profiles and related skills needs. The project will set up the basis for designing VET modules/short courses to address those skills needs.
