Recently, an agreement has been signed between the University of Santiago de Chile (USACH) and Tknika. The purpose is to implement the SET Tool in 4 Technical Training Centres run by the USACH. SET is a tool for assessing professional competences, originally developed by Tknika and deployed in several Basque VET centres. The agreement was signed by Jorge Torres, representing the USACH, and Iñaki Mujika on behalf of Tknika.

Since 2014 Tknika and the USACH have a collaborative agreement which has led to several joint proceedings. For the time being, in addition to this last agreement, both institutions are collaborating in a training programme on entrepreneurship and in the development of a Master for technical teachers at the Professional Technical Training centres of Chile.
