USWE Workshop at Navantia Shipyard in Puerto Real, Cadiz.

At the USWE Workshop, introduced by Javier Herrador, Director of the shipyard, several papers of interest were presented to the attendees, all of them representatives of the European Shipbuilding and Ship Repair Sector. One of the presentations was on the subject of Cybersecurity, as we can see in the photo. It was presented by Unai Segundo, researcher in the Area of New Technologies of Tknika and expert in cybersecurity. Fernando Ganboa presented Navantia’s journey towards the Smart Factory.

Apart from attending the workshop, we were invited to visit the facilities of the shipyard and to know the Museum of the Dique, a memory of the historical activity in the Cadiz shipyard.
