Remote sensing studies in the vineyards of Getaria

Precision farming is an activity that is becoming more and more extended, since it allows optimizing the resources used in agricultural plantations. With the intention of developing a practical application related to this field, a remote sensing study has been carried out in the txakoli vineyards of Getaria.
Coinciding with the last day of October we obtained images of the vineyards with a multispectral camera and the later study of them has evidenced the different conditions we can find even in the same plantation. The analysis of various indices shows how the needs and deficiencies are different in distinct areas of the same farm, so it allows a more efficient response to them.
