Last METALS project meeting

Last Tuesday, September 18th, the last Metals project meeting was held in Brussels. This project, belonging to the Erasmus + Programme, participated by Tknika, IMH and AFM, has been coordinated by the European Machine Tool Association (CECIMO) some other organizations, related to the Machine Tool sector, universities and vocational education and training centres from Germany and Italy have also been partners of the project.

The main aim of the project was to identify the professional skills (technical and transversal), that the Machine Tool sector, in the field of Additive Manufacturing Technologies, will need in the near future.

One of the final key results of the project, an introductory on-line course for Additive Manufacturing will be accessible for free on the Metals website, www.metalsalliance.eu/ at the end of the project, in December 2018.
