Introduction to aquaponics system.

During the last two weeks of June, an introductory 20-hour aquaponics course was held in Tknika. The main objective has been to transfer part of the knowledge acquired during the Biotknifish project to the professors of FP of our schools. During the course the following topics have been developed. It has begun by explaining the main parts of the aquaponic model and the history of aquaponics. In the following classes the important parts have been explained: plants, fish, water quality and facilities. Finally, both the facilities of Tknika and the commercial facilities of the company Nerbeen have been visited. Attending to the evaluations gathered to the assistants to the course, it is possible to be concluded that the course has been very satisfactory.
