Eurashe conference and last Beehives project meeting

The 14th and 15th of June, the conference ‘Creating Relevant Learning Experiences; employers’ involvement with higher education’ took place at the University Colleges Leuven-Limburg (UCLL) of Leuven (Belgium); This conference was organized by EURASHE, the Universities Association for Lifelong Learning, the Work and Learning Network of the United Kingdom and by the partners of BEEHiVES project. The objective of the conference was to share experiences so that higher education, employers and other stakeholders implement joint strategies and curricula that allow students and employees to learn through, for and in work environments.
Tknika made a paper presentation entitled “Deployment of Regional Innovation Policies and Strategies counting on the collaboration of VET centers (European Level 5) and SMEs in the Basque Country”. It was described the innovation strategy carried out by the Vice-Ministry of Vocational Education and Training with the aim of boosting the relationship and collaboration between VET Centers and SMEs in the Basque Country.
On the 15th, once the conference was over, in the same facilities of UCLL the partners of the BEEHIVES project held the last meeting of the project. This project has lasted three years and the different aspects to be taken into account have been analyzed to help in the collaboration between VET centers, companies and students.
