SMART GREEN BUILDINGS PLATFORM – INTELLIGENT SUSTAINABILITY APPLIED IN VET

On October 4, Rikar Lamadrid, Director of Technology and Advanced Learning and Mª Jose Barriola, Responsible for Sustainable Development and Biosciences in Tknika, presented the first SMART GREEN BUILDINGS PLATFORM – INTELLIGENT SUSTAINABILITY applied in Vocational Training.

The main aim of this platform will be to build a Collaborative Research-Innovation and Networking space between vocational training centres of different professional families and research-innovation companies in intelligent building and sustainable construction, to strengthen the construction sector with tools integrated into the automation and control in applications of imótica and efficient use of the material and energetic resources.

The meeting was attended by a total of 26 professors from the following professional families Building and Civil Work, Wood and Furniture, Energy and Water, Health, creating a multidisciplinary forum for the interrelation and exchange of knowledge related to Intelligent and Sustainable Buildings.

The working group is already working on different projects and will meet on a monthly basis for the sharing of the actions carried out by its members and the follow-up of the objectives set for the different themes related to intelligent building and sustainable construction.
