Ikaslab 3D printing project: working on biomodels

One of the main lines of work of Ikaslab 3D printing project aims to develop knowledge in creation of biomodels, in collaboration with hospitals.

Working on different tools of software, the beginning radiology images can be transformed in 3d objects, that can later be converted in phisical 3D models by the use of additive manufacturing technologies.

Particularly, we received last 3 and 4 of March an specific training of Mimics and 3matic, software of Materialise, so that we can deepen in these application that can have both clinic and academic use.
