Defining the Taxonomy of Skillaibility for Autonomy, Inclusivity, and Empowerment

As part of the SkillAbility Project, we are taking an important step forward in shaping the future of empowerment, human technology symbiosis, human augmentation and inclusivity. Within Work Package 2 (WP2), our team is working on the definition of a clear and robust taxonomy in this emerging field.

This taxonomy will provide a shared framework to classify, understand, and communicate how technologies can support autonomy, inclusivity, and empowerment. Establishing this foundation is essential—not only to ensure that all partners in the project speak the same language, but also to guide research, innovation, and implementation across the entire initiative.

By carefully defining categories and relationships, we aim to make technologies more accessible and relevant, ensuring that their benefits can reach diverse individuals and communities. This work will serve as a reference point for the project’s subsequent activities, and a lasting contribution to the field.
